A message from the BPYC Coordinator

Dear Fellow Bucks Promise Members,

The summer is drawing to a close and we are looking forward with great excitement and enthusiasm the beginning of the BPYC 2012 – 2013 year.

Due to the holiday of Yom Kippur falling on our usual meeting date of the fourth Wednesday of each month; our first BPYC Consortium Meeting will be changed to 9:00 on Friday, September 28, 2012 at the Bucks County Drug and Alcohol Commission, Inc. on 600 Louis Drive.

Our focus topic will be under the Promise of a Healthy Start with a 30 minute FASD presentation by Dr. Stacey Conway.

Please note that there is also a schedule change in October to Wednesday, 9:00 on October 17, 2012 at the Bucks County Intermediate Unit and we will not convene on October 24, 2012.

The Consortium has an opportunity to meet for an opened forum or town hall style discussion with Student Leaders representing schools throughout Bucks County.

I hope that you have taken advantage of the joys that the summer brings and are looking forward to a productive year with Bucks Promise for Youth and Communities.
