On April 28, 2012 communities across Bucks County
will participate in a national initiative designed to help reduce prescription drug abuse and to protect the environment by providing for safe disposal of potentially dangerous controlled substances from household medicine cabinets.
The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration's (DEA's) National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day provides an opportunity for the public to surrender expired, unwanted or unused prescription and over-the-counter medications for proper and safe destruction.
More than 40 collection sites throughout the county will be
open from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
